Going on the third week in camel land

When this week comes to a close I will have been here three weeks.  Thank you for everyone who has been hitting their knees.  I am struggling with being here; hearing things from Dad I didn't expect to hear.  Good things from Him, yet hard things still and harder still to try and understand what He wants me to do and when.  Please keep hitting your knees.

Today was the first day of language school.  I learned the words for man, woman, boy, girl, child, baby, old man, old woman.  I also learned how to sit, stand, sleep, go, come, stop, and run all in another language.  However, me trying to say these words just yet is another matter.

I know that many of you are looking for that mass e-mail, and it is coming shortly.  Our amenities here are short lived many days, which means many days we go without electricity, little water, and often internet refuses to work.  Keep asking that some of things would get better, and that we would have patience.  If you would like to drop me an e-mail please do so at the address on the back of my card.

End of the first week

It's the end of the first week.   I have officially been here for one week, and tomorrow morning I wake up early to drive 10 hours to my new city.  Things have been going okay for the most part, but still need a lot of knee action in all of this adjustment.  I feel like I have adjusted somewhat to the city I am in now after being here a week, but will now have to start all over once we get to our new city tomorrow.  Please be asking that daily I would be reminded by dad that what I am doing is for him.  Ask that I would be reminded why I am here.  Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Half Way

To everyone who is still lifting me up I am now physically offically half way there.  I left out of Little Rock yesterday afternoon, and flew out of the US from Houston yesterday at around 4pm.  In a few hours I'll be leaving Deutsheland, and flying to my new home.  Please continue to hit your knees for the people, for the team, and for me.  If you still haven't received a p card from me, and want one I have a few left.  Let me know, and I'll get my sister to send you one.
